    I'm Dane Sanders. I'm 52 years old, weigh less than I did in high school, and am more fit than I was as a Division I collegiate athlete.

     

    Since founding Men Of Discomfort with my buddy Tim, we went from middle-aged and overweight to less than 13% body fat. Tim became an Ironman.

     

    With the addition of Women Of Discomfort, we combined to create MWOD. Now, everyone gets to play.

    I'm 33 years old and believe I never need to “retire” from living an athlete's lifestyle - living a lifestyle that prioritizes health and wellness so that I can perform at the highest level in life!

    I’m an old soul trapped in a 27-year-old’s body and I’m obsessed with realizing my full potential while helping others do the same.

     

    I believe that every person has a story worth telling and that seeking voluntary discomfort is the quickest way to unlock your potential.

     

    There are few things more powerful than successfully completing something that you (or others) had previously labeled as impossible, and then coming back to your life and asking "what else can I do?"
